We'd call this a "farmers market," but I'm not sure what the official name is here. It's an outdoor market with local vendors selling produce, meats, pastas, cheeses, oils, pastries, flowers, etc. It takes place every Wednesday and Saturday morning in the city center, year-round, although it's apparently smaller in the colder months.
This past Wednesday morning we took an exploratory look, no purchases.
